Quinn Kelley owner of Chicken Hill Farm Handmade Soap was a finalist in Guardian Life's Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Awards Program. 

She won an award that can be used toward college tuition or toward supplies to further her soap business!

Donating for Wildlife affected by the Gulf Oil Spill

 

 

Chicken Hill Farm Handmade Soap raised $46.00 dollars at the Meredith Dairy Fest by putting aside $1.00 of every soap sold. Three people donated an extra dollar each and we will put in one more dollar to round up the donation to $50.00. The money will go to the National Wildlife Federation to aid wildlife impacted by the Gulf Oil Spill.

14 year old Quinn Kelley, Owner of Chicken Hill Farm Handmade Soap - GOOD CLEAN FUN!!!   (She’s saving for Veterinary College) is proud to donate peace sign soap for the gift bags for “Ear of the Heart”. Quinn's connection to “Hair” is through her uncle Walter Michael Harris who was the youngest cast member of the original Broadway cast in 1968! He was 16 and sang (with Ronald Dyson) “What A Piece of Work Is Man” on the soundtrack.

Donations For ALTSO

The Unnamed 4H Club of which Chicken Hill Farm Handmade Soap owner Quinn is a member, has an excellent community service project.  We are helping our friend John Truscott put together donations of crutches,walkers, canes, braces, tens units, slings, soft braces and
prosthetic limbs for "A Leg To Stand On" http://www.altso.org/
to bring down to Haiti. They will be refitting and resizing any
donations to fit people injured in the Haiti Earthquake. Look through
your garage, closets, barns etc. If you have something to donate and
live locally (Delhi, Oneonta etc.) I can arrange to pick up or you can
contact me to drop off - (chickenhillfarmsoap@stny.rr.com) or John at
(jtruscott@stny.rr.com) Alternatively, you can donate directly to

We Are Donating Soap!!!!

Chicken Hill Farm Handmade Soap is spending all this week going through leftover holiday soap, trimmings etc. We will be donating our excess soap to "Clean The World" an organization that collects soap from
hotels, soapers and other organizations. They put it through a special
cleaning process, repackage it and deliver these recycled product donations to domestic homeless shelters and impoverished countries suffering from high death rates due to acute respiratory infection and diarrheal disease. Right now, Clean the World is concentrating on moving hygiene products and medical supplies into the Haiti Relief Effort.
